The church of Christ at Hardin is a group that believes in the deity of Christ and the all-sufficiency of the Scriptures.  Because of that the congregation seeks and takes every opportunity available to serve others and glorify God.

Moreover, the church here (also called the  Lord's church, the Bride of Christ, the Body of Christ) does not use instrumental music, baptize infants, or practice a number of other traditions and innovations that are common to many churches you may enter today because of the silence of the Scriptures on those subjects and the command not to add to or take away from God’s Word (Revelation 22.18-19).  The church meets every first day of the week to worship God and encourage one another by praying, singing praises to God, taking the Lord’s Supper, giving a portion of what we have been prospered with back to God, and hearing a message delivered from God’s Word.  In addition to our worship we meet on Sunday morning and also on Wednesday nights to study God’s Word so we can live it out better in our lives and teach others.

We also believe in spreading the good news about Christ to others.  Thus, we are involved in mission work to Africa and China, in addition to the work each member does locally to teach the truth of God’s Word to others.

Basically, our beliefs extend as far as the Bible speaks and no further.  If you have any questions let us know by calling or e-mailing us.
